Older pale coloured, unweathered and consolidated till may represent deposits of a former glaciation with possible correlation with the Sirrius Formation; this formation may reprsent an early Antarctic glaciation and is seen in various places in the Transantarctic Mountains; the till was observed on the Tabletop ridge in two separate locations
