Moraines adjacent to the Meserve Glacier record changes in the position of the glacier over a period of 2.3 my; adjacent to the glacier margin sediments are clearly subject to fluvial activity; possibly these materials can be differentiated from adjacent till deposits which may not have been subject to fluvial processes
