Several prominent bench surfaces above Taylor Glacier may mark former glacial erosion surfaces; weathering increases with increasing elevation; this surface has a stony till cover with less weathering than the surfaces at higher elevation

A moderately developed pebble/cobble boulder pavement with moderate cavernous weathering of sandstone clasts; granular surface disintegration of some coarse grained granites; some fracturing of surface dolerite clasts and weak ventiforms; some staining on sheltered surfaces but nil on exposed faces; a granite boulder at the edge of the profile has a disintegrating surface above ground and a less weathered surface below ground level
